I probably won't update very often or possibly even remember I have it after this next week, but I thought it was a good idea so I'm going with it for now.

Your welcome to look, comment and even join in if you would like. I just thought it would be fun if nothing else!

So lets enjoy!

If you want to be actively involved with this blog and share some of your fun ideas let me know. Email me at macijill@hotmail.com and I will add you to the list!

Sew Simple... Sew Cute!

The big trend here in California...Pillowcase Dresses. So adorable. A sewing group in my ward made some with zebra print and a band of fabric around the bottom in hot pink, or purple or yellow or blue trim and matching ribbon! Some did spring polka dots. They made them shorter than this picture and paired them with the cutest leggins and flip flops (which they embelished... but that's another post) The babies had huge fun headbands and the older girls just had some fun hair pieces. Gave me spring fever! Give it a whirl... I am almost done with mine. So excited!

No big dill

This cute skirt and matching headband, at No Big Dill, made me wish for a day of having a daughter to make this for and have her look this cute. Check it out, you will absolutely love it too!

The headband may be a little dramatic, but I think its super cute!
And I LOVE the skirt, I'm thinking of making one for myself... Who says little girls get to have all the fun.

Tie Onsie

This one was really fun and super easy! I also found this one on a fun craft blog (my new addiction). They had the pattern to print off, and I had some fun cute fabric left over from another craft, which you will soon see, and I went to town. I cut the fabric out and got some of the wonder under, iron on appliqued. And that was about all it took. I just ironed it on, and sewed around the edges, which isn't necessary, i just thought it looked cuter! But the site that I found had step by step instructions on how to do it. I will do my best to find it again and link it on here so that everyone can have fun with it too!

Bladen wore his cute little onsie to church on Mother's Day! He really was the most handsome guy at church, well next to Ryan of coarse... Like father, like son!!! I was a pretty lucky mom/wife to be next to both of them!

Tie Tutorial/Pattern

Diaper Cover

This one was fun but it sure tested my patients! The is nothing like trying to sew/learn to sew on miniature objects when there isn't room to do anything. Making a leg hole to fit a 3-6 month old, is much harder than an average leg hole might be... It certainly isn't the best work, and that is why you will not get any close up! It turned out cute but mostly because it is on the cutest little guy ever!

The pattern didn't have anything on the butt, but I thought it needed something to make it look a little more boy-ish. So I found a big skull and there you have it!
